I’ve just returned from 3.5 weeks in London, Dublin and Galway, visiting dear friends and family. Some of whom I hadn’t seen in 13 years. It was a fantastic trip to share with my boys, and many wonderful memories were made (we just don’t speak about the feral flight).

So as a #elegant #creative and sometimes #dramatic, how did I limit myself to ¾ of a suitcase? I needed practical outfits (there was a lot of manual handling for my youngest, who uses a wheelchair to get about) whilst still being edgy and fun for varying weather – although luckily, the weather gods were on our side, and we only experienced a few rainy spells.

This week I share what I packed and wore (including some day-to-night transitions). Please note that there are some lift and in-store selfies as my photographer (teenage son) went on strike from time to time.

Everything was worn at least twice, including the green jumper when hanging out at our accommodation. If I was doing it again, I would have swapped out the two lighter tees for deeper ones as some contrast levels were a little low.
